A look back at 2013

I have never dreamed of being able to work for a living on something that brings me so much joy. There are days when I start working the moment my kids leave for daycare and then look at the clock to see that four hours has just passed by. This happens regularly.

You may not know this, but I was ready to close my business this year. My beautiful baby girl was sick for over six months and it took everything out of me. It was a tough and sad decision, but I just felt exhausted and defeated. Thankfully my wonderful husband believed in me when I had stopped. He talked me out of it and I listened.

As the year comes to an end I find myself being very lucky that house of koopslie, my dream job, is still here. My daughter is well again. I feel stronger than ever and excited about the future. I am thankful to all the people that help me run my business. Without you, you know who you are, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am especially thankful to all my customers – because of your continued support I am able to take my business to a place I never dreamed when I started three years ago. I am extremely honoured that you continue to use my hats and headbands as your children grow and that you give them as gifts to your friends and family. Thank you so much. I want to wish you a beautiful Holiday Season and an amazing 2014!
